Volunteers traveled to Fort Meyers, Florida in January to offer aid and assistance to victims of Hurricane Ian. The group of five spent the week ripping up the floor of the home and replacing it with new underlayment and tile. (See pictures above) This trip also served as a fact finding mission in order to schedule a larger group of volunteers planning a trip there in April, 2023. As in the past trips to New Orleans and North Carolina, the volunteers were overcome with the devastation wrought by nature. A sense of accomplishment and the thanks of the homeowner was their reward for a week spent in service to others.
