Rosemary has trouble negotiating a complex set of doors and steps to enter her garage from the kitchen. Operation Northern Comfort was called in to assess the situation. It was decided to raise the level of the utility room, thereby providing a level exit and a place to locate her washer and drier. By relocating the door to the garage, a set of shallow and deep stairs were erected. This enables Rosemary to continue the safe use of her walker descending the steps. New hand rails were installed. Rosemary has also had a knee replacement performed. These changes will now provide easy access to her garage.
